Briar, 6 months old

Briar is a pretty girl who had a very rough start in life. She has permanent scarring on both of her eyes, which she almost lost, but she can see fine. She has an interesting personality, loves affection, but is still learning how to show love. She can be a bit bitey but she does not bite maliciously, she wants to show love and play through biting. She is a little shy so she will need extra time to get to know you before she will be comfortable and trust you. She doesn’t love being held but she would eventually make a good lap cat as long as she trusts you and she comes to you, it’s the being picked up that she doesn’t like. Because Briar hasn’t quite figured out how to be gentle enough, she would not be good in a home with children. She has been introduced to a medium sized dog and seems fine about dogs.
