Sylvester (approx DOB: 5.29.22)  is a sweet boy looking for someone to help guide him on his path of learning to love people. He was rescued from a hoarding situation where he wasn’t shown any attention, so he came to us with no social skills with humans. He also was not given any proper medical care and now has mild issues with a weepy eye, especially when triggered by stress which is why he needs a home so badly so he can finally settle down and be in a forever home. He is very much still shy and learning that human hands can bring him love, not harm. He enjoys affection and being pet once you get through to him and show him you just want to love him. Sylvester is looking for someone with lots of patience, preferably some experience with very shy kitties and time to teach him what true love is. He’ll need someone who can hold him a lot, try to play with him and take our advice on how to show him how to trust. Since he will hide while he learns these things he’ll need a space such as an extra bathroom, large closet or extra room free of hiding places that he can stay in while you work with him. A calm household with no children and limited animals, is a must for his happiness. This kitty deserves to be loved and we hope you’ll be the one to give him that chance.
