Veronica (approx 1-2 years old) was rescued with her singleton kitten from a colony of cats living outside an apartment complex. She immediately showed signs of being friendly and having great potential to be a house cat. She’s still a little shy, but she really likes to be petted and she likes to be in the room where the people are at. She holds herself back a little bit as she’s getting more secure and more comfortable being in a home but she’s also starting to drop down her guard and becoming more affectionate. Sometimes when you pet her and start to pull your hand away, she’ll reach her paw out to pull you back in. 

She’s been fostered with other cats and a small cat-friendly dog and doesn’t seem to be bothered by any of them so she should do well in a multi-pet household as long as introduction is done slowly, allowing her to adjust to her environment first. She does still get startle at times so a calm household, with no young children and with experienced shy cat owners would be ideal. Older children who understand cats and their boundaries should be ok. She’s a beautiful and sweet girl who deserves a forever home, safely indoors
